Web Browser Requirements

PredAPP requires a modern web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled. To view the complex details, pop-ups must not be blocked. The following browsers have been thoroughly tested with PredAPP:

  • Mozilla Firefox, version 57 or above
  • Internet Explorer, versions 11 or above
  • Chrome, version 70 or above

The latest version of Firefox and Chrome is recommended for visualization.


Usage

    1.Input

    1. 1). Two types of input formats are allowed for PredAPP： TXT (*.txt) or FASTA (*.fasta).
    2. 2). Paste sequences or upload sequence file.
    3. 3). email address are optional for users.

        4. Notes:

      • The sequence length should be between 5 and 150.
      • PredAPP was designed to accept at most 2000 sequences at once.
      • Sequence with illegal characters (BJOUXZ) is not allowed for prediction.

  2. The predicted results will be displayed in a table, and you will receive a email with the result as soon as possible. All prediction results can be download in csv form.
    If the sequence is predicted to be anti-parasitic peptide, it is marked as “APP”, otherwise it is marked as “non-APP” .
