PredAPP is a web server providing users an effective identification of antiparasitic peptides (APPs) .

Anti-parasitic peptides (APPs), are small peptides with a length of 5-50 amino acids and generally derived from antimicrobial peptides (AMPs). APPs can disrupt the cell membrane of parasites or inhibit reductase enzymes to kill the target organism. Therefore, APPs are regarded as important therapeutic candidates for developing a new drug against parasitic diseases.

PredAPP is a web application used to identify APPs. More specifically, we have developed a predictor based on a two-layer stacking method. It shows superior results in independent test set.
